Our Mania for Hope Is a Curse

The naive belief that history is linear, that moral progress accompanies technical progress, is a form of collective self-delusion. It cripples our capacity for radical action and lulls us into a false sense of security. Those who cling to the myth of human progress, who believe that the world inevitably moves toward a higher material and moral state, are held captive by power. Only those who accept the very real possibility of dystopia, of the rise of a ruthless corporate totalitarianism, buttressed by the most terrifying security and surveillance apparatus in human history, are likely to carry out the self-sacrifice necessary for revolt.

The yearning for positivism that pervades our corporate culture ignores human nature and human history. But to challenge it, to state the obvious fact that things are getting worse, and may soon get much worse, is to be tossed out of the circle of magical thinking that defines American and much of Western culture. The left is as infected with this mania for hope as the right. It is a mania that obscures reality even as global capitalism disintegrates and the ecosystem unravels, potentially dooming us all.

The 19th century theorist Louis-Auguste Blanqui, unlike nearly all of his contemporaries, dismissed the belief, central to Karl Marx, that human history is a linear progression toward equality and greater morality. He warned that this absurd positivism is the lie perpetrated by oppressors: “All atrocities of the victor, the long series of his attacks are coldly transformed into constant, inevitable evolution, like that of nature. … But the sequence of human things is not inevitable like that of the universe. It can be changed at any moment.” He foresaw that scientific and technological advancement, rather than being a harbinger of progress, could be “a terrible weapon in the hands of Capital against Work and Thought.” And in a day when few others did so, he decried the despoiling of the natural world. “The axe fells, nobody replants. There is no concern for the future’s ill health.”

The FDA union claims HMRC will lose up to 15,000 of its 64,000 staff – despite having to find an extra £5bn by cracking down on tax avoidance

Axe: HMRC could face huge job cuts – but George Osborne wants staff to tackle tax avoidance

Tory cuts could axe more than a fifth of staff at the department in charge of chasing tax dodgers, a union has warned.

It’s claimed HM Revenue and Customs will lose out as new waves of cuts spread across Whitehall, ditching up to 100,000 jobs.

That’s despite HMRC being in charge of a new tax avoidance crackdown that George Osborne claims will net Britain £5bn.

Dave Penman, general secretary of the FDA civil service union, says HMRC will suffer because other departments like education, health and foreign aid are better-protected.

And it won’t be able to track down tax dodgers without investing in expensive experts, he warned.

He told Mirror Online: “Tax avoidance is just one part of HMRC but it’s a critical one.

Their reward is to be able to continue dodging tax payments by the millions and with less staff hounding their complicated private economic system, fraudulent tax dodging can commence unchallenged.

We’re ruled by a cosy elite who all go to the same dinner parties, says former No10 policy guru chief Steve Hilton

new Monday 18th May 2015 at 10:07 By David Icke

‘David Cameron’s former chief strategist has launched a stinging attack on the ‘insular ruling class’ threatening Britain’s democracy.

Steve Hilton said too many of those at the heart of government go to the same dinner parties and send their children to the same schools.

He said the UK’s political system is now in ‘crisis’ because the same type of people stay in charge whatever the outcome of the elections.

In what will be seen as a criticism of the ‘chumocracy’ of his former boss, Mr Hilton warned: ‘Our democracies are increasingly captured by a ruling class that seeks to perpetuate its privileges.
‘Regardless of who’s in office, the same people are in power.’

Saudi Arabia wants to lead the UN Human Rights Council

Saudi Arabia wants to lead the UN Human Rights Council

new Friday 15th May 2015 at 10:09 By David Icke

‘Saudi Arabia wants to lead the UN Human Rights Council, which raises anger among activists who fear an erode of the Council’s credibility. An “abomination, and cynical by a nation that beheads people on public squares,” said a human rights organization in a statement on Wednesday evening.

There has been rumors for a while that Saudi Arabia wants to lead the UN’s highest body for defense of human rights. Now it appears the rumors have been confirmed by several diplomatic sources. It has had human rights organizations to react with pure rage outbursts.

Saudi Arabia is one of the world’s worst repressive regimes with massive violations of human rights, according to Amnesty, Human Rights Watch and the UN itself. One notable example is Saudi blogger Raif Badawi who was sentenced to ten years in prison and 1,000 lashes for having started a site for political debate. In addition, the country is sharply criticized for the ongoing attacks against Yemen, where the ruthless bombing of civilians is equated with war crimes.’

The Evil within: The truth we dare not see about Saudi Arabia’s war in Yemen

new Friday 15th May 2015 at 09:59 By David Icke

‘On the 70th anniversary of the fall of Nazi Germany, fascism is far from dead. As Yemen bleeds under Saudi Arabia’s grand war, it is really the annihilation of one people we are seeing play out – the Zaidis of Yemen.

If Saudi Arabia, a regional super-power strong with its trillions of petrodollars, has ruled unchallenged over the Middle East and to an extent over the Islamic world, it has done so at the expense of people’s freedom and prosperity. Yemen, more than any other country in the region has suffered under its powerful and rich tyrant of a neighbor.

Coerced into assuming the role of a passive vassal, Yemen was prevented from rising to its true potential through a clever network of bribery, religious sponsoring and social engineering.’

Cameron faces Tory backbench rebellion over plans to scrap the Human Rights Act

The Tories are behaving like fiends from a damned toxic ring, frantically mad on removing our human rights to unleash total police state domination in one spontaneous explosion of hideous horror.

To legalise oppression, a police state society of a crushing dynamic force of control will shatter home towns, our family lives and our dignity not spared.

Our lives under a ‘gulag’ mentality, miserable, laborious and hard under a ‘Tory Fourth Reich’ of gut wrenching death dealing policies that is no longer conspiracy and never was.

Bit by bit they have taken our rights away under the illusion of their saintly facade. This is a manufactured dehumanisation programme and the death of civic virtue.

We must be convulsed in immeasurable anger and indescribable frustration at the wilful arrogance of these elite rulers of concentrated wealth insistent upon out right supremacy over us.

They are imposing a mild form of dictatorship with a hidden agenda of a ceaseless expansion, a brutal interval into our standard of living will be changed forever.

Cameron faces Tory backbench rebellion over plans to scrap the Human Rights Act

new Thursday 14th May 2015 at 08:58 By David Icke

‘David Cameron is facing diplomatic isolation and his first backbench rebellion over plans to scrap the Human Rights Act and exempt the Government from implementing unfavourable European Court of Human Rights rulings.

Mr Cameron has made the abolition of Labour’s 1998 legislation a key part of his 100-day policy offensive and the measure is expected to be included in the Queen’s Speech later this month.

But the Prime Minister is already facing a revolt from a growing number of his backbenchers over the proposals with a former aide to the new Justice Secretary Michael Gove warning that they have less than a 5 per cent chance of being implemented.’

Here We Go! Spreading Across Nations Like A True Ruling Elite Psychopathic Disease-Nice And Slow-Thailand’s army declares martial law

Thailand’s army declares martial law

rothschild-banks1 (1)

Deliberate engineering of societal destabilisation treating each nation as one open air prison, one giant economic plantation. They are using the divide and conquer technique as it never fails.

Street Democracy writes:

Although very real for the people, mainly the poor, the working poor, and lower classes, this social and political agitation is a game set and match for ruling elites pushing for a World War.

It’s a psychopathic main frame of no empathy or compassion but a hunger for power and control.

It is a deliberate destabilisation of each society to cause confusion, blaming one group then involving another group, and then having the government declare ‘Martial Law’ as if legitimising police brutality for social control.

BjlYnBjIcAA_bVi

They don’t mind you knowing. They are beyond reach and sit above the law-for now.

The ruling elites treat our societies across the globe as ‘outside’ prisons, we the people are ‘free range’ but caged never the less by the hidden hands that rule over us.

They are engineering wars.

They engineer civil unrest, a spiral of social agitation and destabilisation for peaceful nations which are viewed as simply ‘economic’ plantations or ‘work camps’ by the elites, just on the scale of a nation.

We are to work for them, so this is just business.

This is depopulating the planet to make it easier for them to manage.

takers

They dumb us down-make us skill-less, blame our poverty for the failures of the world, call us ‘useless eaters’ and now they want us dead to take our lands.

They want the lands free of peasant ownership.

The want the lands free of people full stop.

They want their own governments in charge of these nations and then to move in their banking systems and their micro chip populations.

We will see more social unrest, more civil uproar and more societal legitimate rage being waged at the ruling elites split into two.

543840_360140194104078_446810302_n

Sophisticated psychology of dividing our minds to blame those being pointed at by corporate controlled mainstream news and people still believe it.

One set are the legitimate rulers whether good or not, if they don’t obey the Rothschild’s they are out with all kinds of staged propaganda highlighted frequently by the controlled corporate mainstream media.

To financially destroy the lands is easy and this creates a new level of poverty and a new level of anxiousness that blames and points the finger at whoever the media says.

In the meantime it gives the powers who shouldn’t be access by causing so much division, divide and conquer, that they come in playing the hero’s while they caused the savage agenda.

bbc

Keep your eyes on behind the system being played out.

Don’t get sucked into the nitty gritty politics of the blame game as you have no real evidence anyway, its all on hear say by main stream.

Don’t let them fool you, but see the game played out in each nation.

You’ll see the pattern of destruction then, a little bit more easier.

Thailand’s army declares martial law

‘Thailand’s army declared martial law in a surprise announcement that it said was aimed at keeping the country stable after six months of sometimes violent political unrest. The military, however, denied a coup d’etat was underway.

The move effectively places the army in charge of public security nationwide. It comes one day after the Southeast Asian country’s caretaker prime minister refused to step down and follows six months of anti-government demonstrations that have failed to oust the government.

The army said in a statement it had taken the action to “keep peace and order.” Armed troops entered multiple private television stations in Bangkok to broadcast their message nationwide. Although troops were deployed at some intersections, the vast metropolis of 10 million people appeared calm and commuters could be seen driving and walking to work as usual.’

‘Thailand’s army has declared martial law, intensifying the turbulent nation’s deepening political crisis but denying a coup d’etat was under way.

The shock pre-dawn announcement, which effectively places the army in charge of public security nationwide, came after six months of anti-government demonstrations aimed at ousting the government and a day after the south-east Asian country’s caretaker prime minister refused to step down.

Sussex police under fire for ‘criminalising’ fracking protests

Sussex police under fire for ‘criminalising’ fracking protests

Blvoh73CQAA6qLS

Is this what modern day policing actually means? Are we now under totalitarian rule a form of corporate oligarchical rule by the corporate rich?

Street Democracy writes:

There is a boundless appetite for a tight grip upon citizens expressing views that clash with governmental decisions.

A large growing paranoia by corporations and their fear of public dissent is increasing at an alarming rate and as our corporate world takes president our police force are ordered to protect it.

The corporate world is morally fragmented and in decay, yet rules over lands, laws and politicians.

fracking

Do not question authority only if you’re part of it like this two faced psychopathic liar from Exxon.

The placing of police officers in a predicament, in a situation between a rock and a hard place.

Between corporate operations and what is being labelled socially inappropriate behaviour by citizens, protesting against these corporate operations.

Our MP’s are not independent but rather corporate puppets, highly connected to their corporate vested interests that commit crime hidden, by laws that are protected by the law makers, themselves.

BmdRzcvIUAE0ix-

Passive acceptance is not an option and is as guilty as being evil as the corporate criminality. Fracking is criminal, a violent crime against earth.

The routes and trenches of democracy are all but dug up and are a joke to protest and demand answers to.

Truth and legitimate reasons behind corporations ceaseless expansions is expressed by economic growth which now means more destruction of our planet, to fill the swollen pockets of the few.

All that’s left for citizens is to publicly air the legitimate rage that innately decent people have every right to hold.

246789_487252167954239_471487263_n

Economic growth means exploitation of natural resources meaning corporate take over, control and greed for the destruction and pollution of our much loved home, our planet most sacred.

It of course clashes with rules and laws of disturbing the peace.

Clever sophisticated methods that are enshrined into law are anti-human by design giving protection to corporations who regurgitate this when a crowd gathers around its base.

Some form of public and social order act is enforced to keep the public safe is used against protesters.

1002486_610919242281326_1201839108_n

Psychopaths following a psychopathic agenda is not against the law-but the toxic politics these law makers make should be.

It makes it impossible to protest without disturbing this law, and committing this crime is now a piece of cake, especially in groups of 3 or more.

The criminalisation of the citizens is now not even privy to protesters, yet, to be one is to have a criminal intent and if you don’t move on you can be arrested, because the police can say so.

We are witnessing deformed values being protected by ruling elites so criminal but who sit above the law.

1383556_10152973322474386_1042904616_n

We are all residents upon this sacred planet and all have a responsibility to protect her, even police officers need clean water, clean air in which to breath and live by.

We witness anti-human gutter politics of repression reminiscent of a despotic regime by powerful faceless, nameless wealthy elites and their anonymity within the corporation they hide within.

Fracking is the extinction button along with all other corporate destruction killing our eco-system and poisoning our bio-diversity and the natural world for profit and gain.

45456767

We should be all on the same side-all should be against the toxic poisoning, the moral decay of corporate activities and their incessant creation of death zones upon earth.

The control grid is expanding at the great cost of humanity and fracking is just but one part of this, all be it one colossal size violent method while muzzling the public expression being desperately aired.

We need to reconfigure, adjust and dismantle existing strong hold, the power grid and toxic mind set of ruling elites that dictate laws to suit them and divide us.

sam_0582

We need police in our seriously agitated society, but we need them on the side of life protection and economic expansion does generate this but when it destroys more than it creates we need to question this corrupt capitalist model. We need the police to question it too.

It means upsetting the power balance of now and protesting is one way of publicly displaying this form of non aggressive form of non compliance and a rejection of passive citizen acceptance of fracking.

Sussex police under fire for ‘criminalising’ fracking protests

‘Most of the people arrested during a summer of demonstrations against fracking in the village of Balcombe have been acquitted, leading to accusations that police tactics in a £4m operation criminalised peaceful protest.

The last of the criminal trials resulting from 126 arrests made by Sussex police during days of action outside the Cuadrilla site last summer finished this month. Of 114 charges, relating to 90 individuals, only 29 resulted in convictions, according to freedom of information responses from the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) and the police.

Sussex police are accused of using mass arrests, draconian bail conditions and section 14 notices under the Public Order Act 1986 to criminalise peaceful protest at the site in Balcombe, where the energy firm Cuadrilla conducted exploratory drilling.’

60 percent of China’s drinking water too polluted to drink; this is where many of your herbs, protein powders and superfoods are grown

‘China’s longstanding reputation as the world’s worst polluting country has once again been affirmed following the release of a new government report on the quality of the nation’s drinking water. The Ministry of Land and Resources reportedly notified state media that an overwhelming 60 percent of the groundwater in China is now too polluted to drink, up from 57.4 percent two years ago.

Water quality tests conducted in 203 cities throughout China revealed exceptionally high levels of contaminants, rendering the water either “relatively poor” or “very poor” on the safety scale. Water in the “relatively poor” category can be safely drunk as long as it undergoes pretreatment, while “very poor” water cannot be used for drinking water under any circumstances.’
