A Nation of Snitches By Chris Hedges

Street Democracy writes:

Chris Hedges rightly talks about elites weaponising policies to use against mainstream society by indoctrinating minds to fear ‘everyone’ doing ‘anything’ at ‘anytime’.
The use of propaganda is powerful.

‘Sour principles’ enlarged by monumental mechanisms squander and obscures truth by our ruling elites. This mechanism emotionally herds people to believe in the direction the ‘legalised terrorist’s’ (our leaders) want.

With ‘corporate’ media programmed to ‘program the herd mentality’,criminalising ‘everyone’ the indoctrination is simple and effective as is ‘divide and conquer’.

If you stage ‘moral panic’, plant social indoctrination, repeat societal propaganda, you can manipulate, ‘spellbound’ the masses into divisions where before were unheard of.

By inflicting a fierce dialogue and ferocious demeanour at particular members of communities, a siege mentality appears, divisions occur, cracks show of opinions, beliefs differing and causing frictions between groups where once they were none.

By labelling the public as potential ‘nasties’ there will be many who swallow such ‘toxic rubbish’.

Their wilful arrogance is spoon fed to prove commitment to their country, social position, the perfect citizenry perhaps?

The same ‘divide and conquer’ is in the UK with our recent General Election. The Tory’s won the with a 37% majority, and locally gained seats from areas ‘never’ before were Tory, but Labour.

By trashing those on benefits, the unemployed, disabled people, it causes those working to raise their social status by a mere thread and divisions appear between the workers and the non-workers.

This despite the ‘working poor’ enduring back breaking, long hours of minimum wage in temporary jobs their lives exhausted and utterly spent in equal misery, socially they feel accepted into mainstream society.
The unemployed have been expelled, marginalised and socially disgraced.

So attacking the poorest, those economically just above them are inclined to vote for a more right wing political party to distance themselves from the social disgrace the Tories have labelled the unemployed.

Those desperate to prove their social status as higher because of their employment position to gain the ‘Tory’ societal approval, until they loose their temporay job and become unemployed, then reality hits home.

The same propaganda, ‘divide and conquer’ has been used to hype up ‘terrorist’s’.

‘Terrorist’ have been placed ‘malicously’ penetrating innately decent societies to be anyone at anytime. Those insecure members of the public desperate to prove their ‘goodness’ will demonstrate by potentially informing upon others.

It is ‘1984 – George Orwell’ at best, watch the film if you can.

A Transportation Security Administration sign at Los Angeles’ main rail terminal, Union Station, urges that suspicious activities be reported to authorities. It declares, “If You See Something Say Something.” (AP / Damian Dovarganes)

A totalitarian state is only as strong as its informants. And the United States has a lot of them. They read our emails. They listen to, download and store our phone calls. They photograph us on street corners, on subway platforms, in stores, on highways and in public and private buildings. They track us through our electronic devices. They infiltrate our organizations. They entice and facilitate “acts of terrorism” by Muslims, radical environmentalists, activists and Black Bloc anarchists, framing these hapless dissidents and sending them off to prison for years. They have amassed detailed profiles of our habits, our tastes, our peculiar proclivities, our medical and financial records, our sexual orientations, our employment histories, our shopping habits and our criminal records. They store this information in government computers. It sits there, waiting like a time bomb, for the moment when the state decides to criminalize us.

Totalitarian states record even the most banal of our activities so that when it comes time to lock us up they can invest these activities with subversive or criminal intent. And citizens who know, because of the courage of Edward Snowden, that they are being watched but naively believe they “have done nothing wrong” do not grasp this dark and terrifying logic.

Street Democracy writes:

The misery in the voices of the unemployed as they stand or sit waiting for their privacy to be violated by some charged up, power hungry work programme consultant is painful to hear.

They are not socially elevating the unemployed into positions of respect and large salary positions to the deserving innately decent sensitive poor, but more like a carnival of mental torture instead.

It is a form of mind rape as the barrage of intimate questions come hollowing at you, by a commanding dialogue of speak of loose your vital money, is outrageous and is blackmail.

BkjBxfTIYAAHIIr

A corrupt parasitical mechanism to destroy the psyche of the poor, enslave them, blame them and crush them.

They are doing nothing but transmitting disease gutter policies that amplify misery, magnify a corrupt government to crush the poor but mostly to control the poor.

These work programmes have been designed by ‘think tanks’ disconnected socially and have infiltrated aggressive austerity programmes that look good on paper.

minimum-wage-poverty

Organisations are standardising blackmail, localising bullying and controlling the poor and not even in the right direction either.

In reality these are detention centre’s intricately imposing, and are needlessly sterile instruments of control.

In reality these consultants are localising bullying, standardising blackmail and controlling the vulnerable poor as if they are commodities to be controlled.

What they are not doing is socially elevating the poor, aiding the desperately ill in positions of employment far removed from slave labouring and minimum wage to give them career fulfilment to suit their individual needs.

BlHuzoGIcAAZIbw

Fact, the unemployed are not slaves, we’re not to be disrespected either. We’re treated like vermin, and socially demonised as parasitical. Yet, we are innately decent people trying our best in a cut throat world too, with ill health and no money, its almost impossible.

They are not elevating the working poor out of the cycle of deprivation.

The poor are not receiving large quantities of respect and are not treated as innately decent people.

The poor, the unemployed are instead, regularly hounded, are harassed and pushed forward towards sordid work positions available.

430847_149933881824335_1645102229_n-1

People need time to heal. People need time to be new mothers and fathers, they need time to adjust to disabilities before being pushed out into the job market with added cold scorn like it is today.

This class warfare guarantee’s hard gruel labour, or dead end work placements, guaranteed to make your feet and hands sore while being paid pea nuts.

Your pushed forward to work in a type of hell, a work position that is in a social black hole of no empathy, no decent pay, no respect and no prospects.

BiSBZLlIEAACvQj

This parasite is psychopathic following a psychopathic Tory main frame- but worse is localised organisations adopting this ideology and giving it the power necessary to hound the poor with.

Work placements guaranteed to destroy what little health you had left and you have no choice but to go along or face hunger and serious money deprivation with benefit sanctions.

This sounds like a ‘Gulag Society’  to me.

A Punishing State treating the unemployed as one social annoyance a plague or parasite and is beyond wrong in every way.

Councils and housing organisations to boycott workfare programme

By Inside Housing-Pictures displayed by Street Democracy.

Around 350 charity organisations have signed up to boycott the community work placement part of the government’s workfare programme, including 13 councils, two housing organisations and a selection of homelessness charities.

jobcentre-plus

The Keep Volunteering Voluntary campaign has said that 345 organisations have agreed to boycott the programme, including Habinteg Housing Association, Your Homes Newcastle Youth Voice, Shelter, Shelter Cymru and Swansea Young Single Homeless Project.

Union Unite has also signed up and, through its Unite Against Workfare campaign, has already secured agreements from several councils that they will not take workfare placements. These councils have said they will also encourage contractors to do the same.

The 13 councils that have signed up at present are: Barking and Dagenham, Brent, Burnley, Edinburgh, Ipswich, Islington, Lambeth, Norwich, South Tyneside, St Helens, Sunderland, Thurrock and Wakefield.

The scheme is part of the government’s help to work programme under which participants must either sign on at a Jobcentre every day, take up a training course or carry out a six-month, 30-hour-a-week placement.

The KVV said opposition to the scheme appears to be related to the community work placement element being delayed. the help to work scheme was launched on 28 April, and these placements should have already begun, according to the campaign.

A spokesperson for the Department for Work and Pensions said: ‘Referrals to the placements have begun and the placements will begin shortly. There has been no delay. Charities are under no obligation to be in the scheme, but those who are recognise the benefits of it.’

Update about ‘Balcombe Drilling: Cease the oil exploration activities of Cuadrilla in Balcombe.’ on Change.org

The Fracks in local democracy.
(Concerning the WSCC planning meeting to decide on Cuadrilla’s planning application)

Despite a petition of nearly five and a half thousand signatures, despite over 850 objections – West Sussex County Council chose to ignore the material objection that Cuadrilla has no social licence to be in Balcombe. Well informed and well researched speeches were delivered by residents, which only served to highlight the obvious lack of reading and thought that the voting councillors (with the exception of one – thank you Sue Mullins) had put into this planning meeting. It is a sad day for democracy when the committee, like every other body involved in this process from the EA to the DECC, dismisses some of the most serious concerns as ‘not in their remit’. Then whose responsibility are these concerns? It shows a ridiculous lack of foresight, when an exploration company is allowed to have its process considered piecemeal in separate planning applications, without considering the end-game of oil production close to residents. Thus, each new application is in part validated by the fact that the previous one was approved. Very clever Lord Browne!

lordjohnbrowne-p

Cuadrilla director Lord Browne

Back to our WSCC committee of elected representatives – evidence of health risks from flaring? Not their concern. Cuadrilla’s own researchers admit fluid can migrate up to 2000ft along fault plains and intend to put fluid down an uncased lateral borehole in a highly faulted area, within 1600ft of the aquifer- apparently nobody’s concern. Cuadrilla failed to include certain gases in their models of flaring emissions; have lost air samples and failed to consider the contour of the land so that the flare will actually pump chemicals out at more or less the level of our village (Lower Stumble is lower than Balcombe remember) -apparently nobody’s concern. Then of course there are the regulatory bodies that are supposed to protect us, but instead make assumptions that Cuadrilla has effectively self-regulated, which we know from past history that they have not. The HSE for example, have admitted they made no onsite checks of the well, yet this is part of their own best practice to ensure well failure does not occur. The WSCC and EA have then based their own permits on the idea that the well is, in fact, sound. This cannot be guaranteed, and as we have seen in Singleton, well failure does happen. Again – apparently nobody’s concern. Climate change? Clearly nobody’s concern, and certainly not the government’s, who admit climate change is occurring in one breath whilst redirecting subsidies away from renewables and into onshore oil and gas with the other. At what cost do we want our energy? We can only hope now, that an educated public will use their votes wisely.
By a concerned Balcombe resident.

As a result of the decision taken in this meeting Frack Free Balcombe Resident’s association has now written to WSCC to inform them that they are prepared to take the case to a Judicial Review on the basis that the decisions of the committee were unlawful. They were not made with due diligence and attention to a number of very important issues. Among these being the issue of flaring, lack of well checks and WSCC ignoring public opinion.

Crawley Town Hall- The Boulevard, Crawley, West Sussex. It is a Tory run council.

1. Party-politics has no place in local politics. The people in the community come first, not the political party.

2. Party-politics caused these insane ‘Cuts & Closures’ because councillors put their political party first – not the people in the
local community which they are supposed to represent.

3. Party-politics created the ‘Whipped Vote’ at County Hall last February on Valentine’s Day, which has caused the problems we are now seeing in our local communities*. All 44 party-political councillors voted for these insane ‘Cuts & Closures’. Not one disagreed with this moral insanity. Not even one abstained. Why? Because they put their party first, not the people they represent.

This political decision requires a moral and political response. That means we must vote on Thursday. We must vote for our children’s sake –and for our future.

If we care enough, we will vote on Thursday.

*Cuts to the Crawley Lifeline Service – a critical service for the
elderly & vulnerable.
*Closures to Crawley’s Children & Family Centre Sessions – a lifeline

Home Town Crawley: Crawley girl, 12, missing and could be at “serious risk”

Crawley girl, 12, missing and could be at “serious risk” by Crawley News click here for full story…

missinggirls0414

POLICE think a 12-girl-old girl from Crawley who has been missing since Sunday may be in London.

Starlene Dempsey went missing after leaving an address in Portslade on Sunday and has not returned to her home in Crawley since.

Sussex Police have extended their search for Starlene and her friend, Chloe James, who is also missing, to London.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned for their welfare and believe they may be in the Newham or Tower Hamlets area.

Fifteen-year-old Chloe, from Seaford, was dropped at Seaford railway station on Sunday around midday and had a return ticket to Lewes where she was expected to see a friend.

A police officer spoke to her on Sunday and she did say she would be returning home, but has so far failed to do so. The pair are thought to be together.

Detective Inspector Lee Horner said: “Both girls have gone missing before and from previous experience, we believe that they may be putting themselves at serious risk due to the people they are likely to associate with.

“We have information that they are thought to be in the Newham or Tower Hamlets area of London and two Sussex officers have travelled to the capital to link with colleagues in the Metropolitan Police who are assisting with the search.

“I would urge the girls or anyone who knows where they are to contact police now on 101 quoting serial 1385 of 27/04. If they are in danger or need medical assistance, please dial 999 immediately.”

Benefits crackdown leads to divide and rule within poor communities

Benefits crackdown leads to divide and rule within poor communities

BeAYGpsIIAA14Du

A psychopathic main frame of a class war Tory manifesto against disabled people, vulnerable, terminally ill, or working poor and unemployed.

Street Democracy writes:

The demonisation is slowly bit by bit changing mainstream society to view all benefit claimants as a social annoyance and destroyer of economies local and national.

It is this very unprofessional Tory manifesto of demonising the benefit claimant that is dividing communities by some shocking opinions engineered by these out of touch aristocrats.

By constantly showing poor families living fantastic lives while on benefits or showing how much money a benefit cheat took socially instigates to all how ‘all’ benefit claimants live amazing life styles and we are all stealing from the State.

Bi2SmZQCEAASe4z

To indoctrinate and socially engineer the welfare dependent benefit claimant is a thief, a liar and steals laughing in the face of all hard working tax payers. It is propagandised lies.

How we are all benefit cheats until investigated rigorously to prove otherwise.

In the meant time we laugh in the face of the working poor, and the working class is the message given from the Tories.

bbc

If mainstream corporately controlled puppets say it is so, the mass public believe it to be. Wake up to reality is my message and read alternative media for truths on benefit claimants.

In the corporate corrupt bought and paid for mainstream media, the small percentage who are criminal, who claim outlandishly how they travel the world on benefits and so on are being used as a template and people believe the mainstream media still.

BmZEG9NIUAAh-LU

It is of course working after 4 years of damaging mainstream news headlines that slowly the Punishing State is taking effect.

4 years ago society didn’t mind you owning a tv, a computer game, sofa and dining room table just as long as it was the cheapest models and paid on some form of expensive HP credit system.

Now, it is outrageous you owning a pair a trainers, owing a coat even never mind living in a brick built social housing property.

10275950_10152183974689713_7273758392381827734_n

The Tories have implanted a physical and moral decay that is sweeping through the nation with hatred and disgust at those claiming benefits and you can feel the disdain now in our local communities.

The dignified and sensitive poor are being taunted daily by a very unprofessional Tory government.

The lack of a decent education in our failing State Schools do not teach political critical thought.

Where as Eton has a replica of the House of Commons for their child pupils to become socially conditioned to speaking and making speeches to control society.

We poor are caged and trapped with our uneducated limited vocabulary and basic worded speech that in this tough life gets us no where.

BghpgywCYAATlSM

We are down trodden the moment we try.

Locally here in Crawley, we are regularly mocked by local Tory Councillors who do so at public meetings, there is nothing hidden and run us down causing many innately decent poor to walk out horrified and upset at our local Town Hall meetings.

Bjr_XKOIIAEopQB

People in Crawley, West Sussex are missing meals to pay for the basics of a high cost corporate society echoing malnutrition and vitamin deficiency just to survive on benefits. now.

It is the incineration of democracy and it is localising State repression, localising State bullying and localising the demonisation towards the poor.

Effectively it is the criminalisation of poverty and those citizens who are trapped in it.

“Brown envelope days” was one of the more memorable phrases to emerge in a series of interviews with cash-strapped Britons which we organised and conducted last summer. The phrase was Stephanie’s, a 53-year-old former teaching assistant living near Luton, who has had a leg amputated, and is married to 60-year-old former aircraft fitter Martin, who now has advanced cancer.

After a lifetime of toil, in aeroplane hangars and primary schools, the pair are now entirely reliant on housing benefit, disability living allowance (DLA) and employment and support allowance (ESA), three payments at the heart of the coalition’s plan to rebalance the books.

Stephanie dreads one particular visitor each day: “It’s horrible when you hear the postman come up the path”, she scarcely dares look up to see what comes through the letterbox … “because if it’s a brown envelope …”, Martin interrupts before his wife completes the shared thought: “that means a government letter.” Nobody is thrilled by official correspondence, but so predictable is it for this couple that mail from the “welfare” state will be a bossy command, a demand for proof or a threat of some sort, that Stephanie can hardly bear “brown envelope days”.

Bedroom Tax victims received spiteful remarks too from some of the Tory Councillors that Tory Cllr Claire Denman is talking about-why isn’t something done about this? It kills our local democracy.

Street Democracy writes:

The boundaries of local democracy fade in Crawley.

Persistent local Tory Councillor’s counter attack principles and methodology towards social citizenship rip’s the soul of democracy away.

What isn’t surprising is how they also use the attack principle towards their own Tory colleagues.

However, Councillor Claire Denamn a Tory Councillor is shocked to receive insults from her colleagues, by other local Tory Councillors despite her being a Tory Councillor herself.

Shocked at how they don’t just play the spiteful blame game of unequivocal opposition and bigotry towards Labour Councillors, as some local Tory Councillor’s do it to members of the public also, and its not the first time towards their own political party.

Maybe now Cllr Claire Denman will appreciate the devastating effects it has when some of her colleagues spit towards us, the public, who have no power, and are completely defenceless.

Some of the poor in Crawley feel socially and politically excluded. Including all vulnerable groups, from the disabled poor, the working poor, the unemployed, those unable to contribute towards working full time alienated and demonised.

It really does discourage local political thought, local critical thinking to exercise a healthy localised democracy, as it exacerbates social enmity providing nothing more than a political hostile environment for us to embrace.

It is no wonder many residents don’t get involved with local politics when local Tory Councillors are so antagonistic.

However, I doubt Cllr Denman comments will change anything and anyway, as a Deputy Leader of Crawley Borough Council, if she is insulted with her powerful position, then it says a lot for the average resident of Crawley.

76936_325017874280597_1346133833_n

Local Councillors are servants to us, the political leaders are servants to local Councillors-it isn’t the other way round.

Also if Cllr Denman felt so strongly about certain attitudes, then she would or should, have addressed this matter at the time, but never did.

In fact she is as guilty for sitting back and let her colleagues rip into members of the public with sarcasm and mockery.

This occurred over the Bedroom Tax and Social Housing Tenants concerns over evictions.

The whole process of Benefit Cuts is extremely worrying for many families suffering from financial scarcity and worries of perpetual debt plus rent arrears.

We were met with no empathy, and thrown sterile statistical data back at us, and the blame card was always issued – ‘it’s Labour’s fault’ scenario.

We experienced a rough but sophisticated localised repressive political apparatus that created a collective despair for all of us.

crawley town hall

The Tory-Labour bitch back and throwing is a pointless waste of energy during meetings-unnecessary and time wasting-especially when it is aimed at the public. Why is it allowed even?

Why not publicly complain and let us clean up our local social democracy and our local democratic political infrastructure so we the people are not insulted for daring to attend meetings and speak our minds and exercise critical thought?

As a member of the public and resident of Crawley, when ever we tried to practice democracy, we too received insults from some of the local Tory Councillor’s.

When attending Crawley Town Hall public meetings we are allowed to have 30 minutes to ask questions. We are dictated too however in a stern voice, that our questions may not be answered or if they are we may not be allowed to respond.

It isn’t much of a democracy of encouraging local political innovation to me.

88c15-millbank_tower_crawl

Tory Councillors need to stop regurgitating what their leaders spout and listen to people and get back in touch with poverty issues in Crawley.

It is intimidating, cold and stern as if they don’t want you to waste their time asking stupid questions.

It is as if they don’t want you to disturb the agenda so they can have an easy evening and be done with the public.

We are then silenced for the rest of the public meeting while listening to the Councillors of all parties in their representative democracy.

It is here when we the public are not allowed to speak, or we get thrown out, or the police are called or these Councillors just get up and walk out as they have done before over the public’s very legitimate outrage of the Bedroom Tax.

representativedemocracy

Our Tory Govt is out of touch so repeating out what they say isn’t going to relate to the local.

So our democracy is really 30 minutes and the Mayor has often closed this time lime before, that really upset the public.

When we question the reduce time we are threatened, jeered at by some Tory Councillor’s all smirking and just rude.

However during the meeting our questions would be sarcastically brought up by some Tory Councillor’s so rude and obnoxious, that they hurt and cause offence to us.

HEARME

I have seen people walk out because of Tory Councillors mocking them during the meetings-spewing out sarcasm and upsetting locals who won’t ever return and killing our local democracy because of it.

So this statement from the ex-Deputy Leader of Crawley Council by her own Tory party isn’t of any surprise and yes clearly they have lost touch.

Some Tory Councillors would spit back towards the public knowing how desperate some were to get answers and mock them in gesture.

Mocking is the word, as their attitude is ‘nothing we can do’ with a smirk on their face.

Many residents would get up mortified and upset by the slandering insults during the meeting and it kills democracy.

The last public meeting I attended, there were 5 of us, including me, instead of 90 and one of them was a small boy with his father.

BjrzhxfCQAAHQ8K

It is scary of how out of touch some Councillor’s are. Snobbery fills the public chamber when some of them walk in. Some shouldn’t be Councillor’s. Whether this picture is a true account as Cllr Marshall-Ascough claims it isn’t when we spoke-it is in my view symbolic of how some of the Tory Councillor’s view poverty in Crawley.

It is the rudeness, the sarcasm and the mocking that is allowed at the Town Hall and when you complain you are ignored.

I sent an email regarding the abysmal exercise of democracy at Crawley Town Hall, Crawley Borough Council and about the unprofessional conduct of some of Tory Councillor’s behaviour.

I emailed twice and got no reply back, nothing and was ignored.

It is further interesting that Cllr Denman has accused the Tory Councillor’s of ‘losing their humanity and acting like toddlers’, loosing humanity towards other people and loosing touch with reality’ is precisely how we feel too.

However, her words are printed, and no doubt will be commented on. Our words of similar anger are ignored.

It is a sham of a democracy in Crawley sometimes when issues of hardship are mentioned and then ridiculed especially with the Tory leadership’s antagonistic demonisation methodology towards the poor is outrageous.

5300790

No democracy, no chance with Tory Henry Smith MP. Voted for Bedroom Tax, Benefit Cuts-Student fee increases, ATOS and sympathises with local Fracking-enough said. He’ll pray for the poor at St.Paul’s church in Crawley, but votes to impoverish them further-hypocritical is what I say.

Some of the members of the Tory’ Councillors of Crawley have lost touch with reality for sure, we could have told Claire Denman this when we as a community regularly attending Crawley meetings.

All we got was a regurgitation of the ‘Punishing State’ their Tory leaders have created and tough luck attitude towards us.

I know of individuals who have had private meetings with Crawley Borough Council to be driven to tears and met with nothing but harsh dialogue.

It is interesting how her son is important, how her home life is important and how she is angry at her fellow Tory Councillors for not showing her the respect she felt she deserved.

How about the Broadfield amputee who is in chronic pain, cannot breath and needs his own spare bedroom to sleep apart from his wife, is targeted as a ‘scrounger’ and ‘lazy’ as he was financially slaughtered, ridiculed by ATOS and Crawley Homes, demanded he pay the Bedroom Tax?

He received the same treatment as everyone else and was even lied to by Henry Smith MP who said he wouldn’t have to pay it.

BiZBiWUIIAA7Si3

No empathy, death-dealing politics and victims in Crawley have no voice, nothing has changed and policies have got worse. People in Crawley are missing meals to compensate for the benefit cuts and we need support not demonisation.

This innately decent Social Housing Tenant with severe disabilities has to pay Bedroom Tax and stil does. He’ll never work again and is desperately poor selling his possessions to pay back debt of his permanent rent arrears.

STEPPED DOWN: Claire Denman has resigned from Crawley Borough Council

A FORMER acting leader of Crawley Borough Council who resigned as a councillor last week has criticised fellow councillors for losing their “humanity” and acting like “toddlers”.

Claire Denman stood down last Wednesday after ten years as a councillor.

The ward member for Pound Hill South and Worth was also cabinet member for customer and corporate services and left a year before her term was due to expire.

Last year she told the Crawley News she would consider her position after announcing she was moving out of Crawley to Pulborough. Mrs Denman has now said the move, as well as personal factors, led to her taking the decision now.

“One of the challenges is that the political process takes over everything and some councillors seem to lose a sense of humanity towards other people.

“They become so wrapped up in the party politics and lose touch with reality.

“A case that always jumps to mind is when a relative had a brain tumour and a councillor had a go at me for missing a meeting to be with them. I couldn’t believe it.

The Killing of Local Democracy At Crawley-The Bedroom Tax Forces Hunger and Debt!

220px-Crawley_Town_Hall_01

Housing officers make regular demands of money and happily take debt payments from those missing meals to pay for the bedroom tax. These guys localised a brutal punishing housing policy.

Street Democracy writes:

The Bedroom Tax is a ‘spirit of the age’ Tory punishing policy.

The social housing tenant now live’s in a ‘punishing state’ if suddenly their dwelling has been deemed inappropriate for them to live in because of this ‘under occupancy or bedroom tax’.

The bedroom tax has and still does evoke legitimate anger and outrage and the needs of this aggressive housing policy to be scrapped is an under statement.

BjwfDVmIgAACQO4

A sophisticated method of social cleansing with one failure, the Tories forgot to make way for the shipment of poor effected by the bedroom tax to go too!

Local bedroom tax campaigners worked tirelessly to speak for the poor, to speak out against the bedroom tax but to no avail and were socially shut down and disempowered.

My point is how our local Crawley based, civil servants ignored the suffering of their tenants and still do.

There is no empathy, compassion within the sterile statistical data and housing policies agenda installed.

These professional’s are making financial demands upon those unable to work, who are not fit to work, are disabled or are unemployed and have been discriminated and demonised by the Tory political party to point score.

BiZBiWUIIAA7Si3

The austerity measures for us, prosperity for the ruling elites is an outrage even through our fluoridated minds.

A malicious method, a spiteful attack upon the poorest families that has been localised in a nasty aggressive blame game.

Blaming social housing tenants given the green light to accommodate council dwellings only to have the rug under their feet get ripped out by a sudden drastic change in policy.

Where does it say this is appropriate behaviour in any code of ethics for social landlords to follow?

BgZCAiQIgAAAVDL

Narcissistic psychopathic main frame Tory agenda has socially demonised social housing tenants blaming them for the economic failings while they give themselves an 11% pay rise.

When we the social sector speak out, it is a social disgrace and the police get called, we are silenced and socially demonised.

The social fabric of social housing tenants has been slashed and ripped to shreds, all applied by the hands of those who are meant to look out for us, defend us, our housing officers and benefit agents.

Crawley Borough Council the social landlord of my area, completely ignored us at first. When they did finally speak to us, it was individually and with disdain.

They soon became ruthless with great efficiency over summoning us to pay for this very aggressive and most putrid housing policy, the bedroom tax.

Bewi5dXCQAAqQ8Q

We all see the world through fluoridated eyes, but that doesn’t give them permission to speak to bedroom tax victims with such disdain.

They didn’t stand up for us as a council should in order to defend and protect their communities.

They just said ‘we are not paid to be political’ yet they follow the Tory political agenda.

Not paid to think is my interpretation of this statement.

Crawley Borough Council staff members of  housing, didn’t question such ‘death dealing’ and very ‘Orwellian’ policies and didn’t refuse to administer and process such a draconian strict code of aggressive housing policy for us at all.

BlSvADbIAAAOWxa

It was and still is a war on the poor after all. This is what housing officers and social landlords localised for us, with brutal and ruthless efficiency. That’s ok as it wasn’t them.

These housing officers and benefit agents localised the Tory’s bullying, amplified the misery and gave the punishing state its power.

Read how poor these housing officers are.

Councillors’ pay in the spotlight-

In total, councillors in Crawley took away £438,405 in that period.

Crawley Borough Council rejects calls to resist bedroom tax

Up to 183 people in Crawley “could have lost homes” after benefits were wrongly cut

This is Councillor Richard Burrett Tory, and one of the most rudest of all.

3658610-large

Councillor Richard Burrett spoke so rudely to one poor woman, that she just got up and left close to tears. She’ll never return to any public meeting after feeling humiliated and how it was a waste of her time. We the people in Crawley felt then, that we were silenced by mockery and rude statements from these Councillors, when the public were no longer able to speak. It was a horrible experience to try to be politically active from the social sector and discouraged many from doing so.

It seems mocking the poor at Crawley Town Hall is allowed after all, who are you going to complain too.

The Mayor who chairs the meetings is a Tory.

Head of Housing is another Tory.

Crawley Council has a majority that are all Tory.

If any of these Councillors read it, then learn from it and never speak with such sarcasm again to members of the public as it is unprofessional and undemocratic.

There is no way it can be challenged by any of these Tory Councillors.

Councillors Richard Burrett, Liam Ascough Marshall and Duncan Crow are all Crawley local Councillors and all Tories and can be incredibly rude and sarcastic to those seated in the public gallery, who are not Tory supporters.

Fact’s are fact;s and the truth is here and all took place publicly.

They don’t even hide their disdain for the local social sector.

I was there when we were spoken too like vermin and how democracy died in Crawley on those particular evenings.

It discouraged many local residents from becoming politically active.

The whole point of public meetings is to encourage it not destroy it.

88c15-millbank_tower_crawl

Innately decent people victims of sudden benefit cuts, disabled people wrongly accused of being fit to work, bedroom tax victims all were mocked here at our local council. It is Councillor’s like this that destroy what little democracy there is.

We demonstrated, we begged and pleaded for them to take note but to no avail.

Now we miss meals, we are going hungry, we are forced into perpetual debt, we are in serious financial state of affairs, suffering from permanent rent arrears and more.

BlanAT7CQAAhIKq

We need a food bank in Crawley. We are hungry through no fault of our own. Most benefit claimants are genuine and sincere being punished and demonised as scroungers.

The point is money.

Financial scarcity is no joke, it means living in this corrupt deformed and biased in favour of the wealthy capitalist system and social housing tenants effected by serious benefit cuts and forced to pay council tax, bedroom tax are living sub-human standards and desperately under the poverty line of acceptance.

Some of us need help and going through the accepted avenues have been blocked by faceless and nameless bureaucratic nonsense digging up the trenches of democracy for us to be halted.

We have no luck talking to our local MP.

5300790

Henry Smith MP Tory. Voted for student fee increases and is the reason many of our young fear further education. Voted for the bedroom tax, benefit cuts, sympathetic to the industrialisation of fracking and supports ATOS. Enough said.

Henry Smith MP Tory doesn’t listen and supports benefit cuts and regurgitates what his heavy weight corrupt Tory MP politicians keep saying without realising it doesn’t relate to real life.

BjrzhxfCQAAHQ8K

We the poor were openly and publicly humiliated and mocked during the several times we attended the Crawley Town Hall open public meetings held on Wednesdays at 7.30pm. We got silenced.

Bedroom Tax victims got silenced by rude Tory Councillors who mocked us during Town Hall public meetings.

We got silenced by their disdain and their regurgitation of Tory heavy weight out of touch ‘gutter’ politics.

We bedroom tax victims of Crawley shall just remain in perpetual debt, missing meals to pay, before the housing officers send out threatening letters of eviction. We live in constant fear of evictions.

Housing office in north London

We bedroom tax victims and those against the benefit cuts were bulldozed by civil servants unwilling to listen and challenge such brutalisation of the social policies from the 2012 Welfare Reform Act.

These hypocrites are out of touch, selfish and self serving local psychopaths with no empathy for their social housing tenants.

Its all about them.

As long as they continue to receive their healthy salaries, its fine they will continue to blindly follow the tail of the one in front and shame on them.

Here in Crawley, in the heart of West Sussex, 20 miles or so outside of London, we have modern day families, individuals, missing meals to pay catch up on the housing rent because of the bedroom tax.

It is a disgrace upon innately decent people, poor working class social housing tenants that need Housing Benefit as the minimum wage covers little and part time workers need help and so the list goes on.

Citizens Advice office

Many local residents sat in tears having their private lives ransacked and penalised for daring to hoard a spare room of 6ft by 5ft. These housing officer sat behind their desks and held no empathy but smiled while they deprived us for essential monies to survive.

Please feel free to comment if you are a victim of the bedroom tax especially Crawley.
