‘Conservative officials threatened the BBC with far-reaching reforms, such as changes to the licence fee funding system, if it did not alter the political balance of its coverage of the general election campaign, Tom Baldwin, one of Ed Miliband’s senior advisers, has claimed.
Baldwin claimed that senior BBC executives and journalists faced repeated threats during that campaign about what would happen if they didn’t change their coverage.
Baldwin makes the assertion in a Guardian article, one of the first comments on the much criticised campaign from Ed Miliband’s own team. His claim was roundly rejected by Conservative officials.’

The general elections saw the public herded into a spectator political ‘blood sport’.
We watched soulless suits of various colours behave like banded thieves stealing our minds with propaganda drivel and dictating in code, how much freedoms they’re taking from society.
A constant drip feed of heavily disguised further legal enslavement dressed up as saintly policies was gargled for weeks on end.
The Tories are malicious enough without a mass sophisticated democracy destroying mainstream propaganda strategy behind them for they do enough democracy destroying for us.
This is mass academia failing, corporate misinformation, a lie built on lies, masking realities to become further entangled in bias corporate disinformation. If this is true then those involved should be sacked, a public enquiry forced and a true analyst of how the Tories actually won this election.

Political leaders are ‘figures of fiends’ legally trespassing over our human rights with the wilful arrogance they hold over us, that they can, should and will scrap them.
The soulless suits of blue vicious jaws, vaunt allowed to manipulate the controlled manufactured terrorism the oligarchs game of chess has unleashed upon societies. To bully us into submission with emotional blackmail of ‘terrorists’, ‘death, murder’ and ‘lock them up but can’t as they’re saturated with ‘human rights’.
They want our human rights annihilated so they can control us with draconian rules with militarised police state mechanisms to protect their masters and save themselves from societal rebellion.
The awaken to this scam already know.
It’s the sleepy public who are more dangerous now.
Our oligarchical leaders are radically anti-democratic and see the working class as a serving class, all education based upon servitude rather than free thinking abstract minds.
The clues are a militarised society, Big Brother, Big Pharma and a medical police state, less freedom is everywhere you turn.
Draconian rules, with a ceaseless expansion of a ‘Hunger Game Society’ with community rules turning society into one ‘giant open air detention centre’.
To imprison ourselves further, eradicates our freedoms further. We cannot allow manufactured bullies whether elites or rogues upon our streets take our freedoms. By Debbie Simmons-Street Democracy
Michael Gove, the new justice secretary, is to press ahead with plans to scrap the Human Rights Act which could see Britain pull out of the European convention on human rights (ECHR) if the reforms are rejected by Strasbourg.
Conservative party sources said that Gove, who was promoted to the post even though he has previously voiced his support for capital punishment, will implement human rights reforms that had been blocked in the coalition by the Liberal Democrats.
The scrapping of the human rights act, a pledge included in the Tory manifesto, is one of the measures to be included in the prime minister’s plans for the first 100 days, when the Queen’s speech is delivered on 27 May.
The plans, which would see the human rights act replaced by a British bill of rights, would mean that the European court of human rights would no longer be binding over the UK’s supreme court. The ECHR would also no longer be able to order a change to UK law although British citizens would still be entitled to appeal to the Strasbourg-based court.
Gove is making clear that, free from the constraints of the coalition, he will implement in full the plans drawn up last year by his predecessor, Chris Grayling. Under those plans, Britain would withdraw from the ECHR if the Council of Europe, the human rights watchdog that upholds the convention, rejects the proposals. The Council of Europe is separate from the EU.
Trust in the mainstream media appears to be taking a nosedive, at least among young people. A recent ‘Harvard Institute of Politics poll that queried more than 3,000 people between the ages of 18 and 29 found that only 2 percent of them believe that the media can be trusted to do the “right thing” on a regular basis.
The poll found that 88 percent of those polled think that the media only “sometimes” or “never” does the right thing. In fact, a whopping 39 percent said the media “never” does the right thing. This places the media in last place behind Congress, Wall Street and the federal government in terms of trust.
High on the list of those who can be trusted are scientists, who came in first place among the 12 institutions the poll listed, with the U.S. military and local police departments claiming second and third place, respectively.’

‘As part of the PEN World Voices Festival, the international press freedom organization scheduled an event this afternoon titled, “Finding Security in Unsafe Passages: United Nations Event about Protecting Journalists’ Safety and Rights.” The panel, according to PEN’s website, will “delve into the wide range of risks journalists face every day. Experts will offer safety tips, share advice for protecting sources and copyrights in all types of media and address cybersecurity risks.”
But on the morning of the event, a spokeswoman for the festival, Kyla McMillan, notified the Observer that we had been denied entry. “The press is no longer able to attend this event,” said Ms. McMillan by email. “There has been an issue with press authorizations through U.N. security.”’

‘If you are like thousands of others, you have no doubt seen an iconic photo of Baltimore burning. The image began circulating throughout social media after a local Fox affiliate in Memphis, Tennessee apparently first ran it. Some other mainstream media outlets even shared the image, using it with headlines that said “Baltimore is Burning” and reverenced a “purge”.
The only problem is it wasn’t from Baltimore.’

‘Police forces spend tens of millions on public relations each year, with the Met alone employing over 100 ‘communications’ staff and an operating budget of over £10 million, documents released under Freedom of Information (FoI) show.
The investigation, carried out by the Press Gazette, has revealed there are 775 PR staff working across 38 national police forces. Over 200 kids with mental health problems locked up by police Besides the 38 forces that responded, a further four ignored the request, two claimed to be exempt from answering and one did not address the question.
The overall figures involved are calculated to be in the region of £36 million per year.’

Street Democracy writes:
William Cooper once described ‘Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars’ as the total enslavement of the human race without it being obvious.
Keeping our children to serve the corporations, you have to control their minds. Each mind sees it’s own version of reality. So to condition a child’s mind to think the way you wish, you can control their reality.
George Orwell in 1984 ‘war is peace’ this double speak could also refer to ‘silent war done peacefully’ which is how corporations war on the human mind is being done.
Then Orwell quotes ‘freedom is slavery’ corporations targeting children don’t see their enslavement to technology, invisible bars, happiness with their gadgets gives them the illusion they are free.
‘Ignorance is strength’ again Orwell from his 1984 book. Mass ignorance gives the corporations strength and they rely on this. To keep the slaves from rebelling to become enemies, you have to control them, change their minds, changing their realities to suit your agenda.
Corporate oligarchs want ‘power for power’s sake’ and in order to obtain this they need subservient people. Belief system that technology is to serve the ceaseless and expansive ambitions of society. Give the illusion at the press of a button an over whelming knowledge base is at your fingertips and make this knowledge appear infinite.
In reality the controllers control the knowledge and the knowledge is written by them, and critical thinking is diminished.
Our children are loosing the ability to think critically, to research unbiased knowledge, uncontrolled knowledge is an extreme encroachment to a child’s thought processes.
Are we to face a future of unrealised broken people, minds predetermined pushing society back into Plato’s cave. The cave being technology the knowledge being the darkness.
If we are not careful, we will have a society of less humane, of sterile emotional minds and an explosion of unempathetic, desensitised people trained to be more sociopath or psychopathic and blinded by true self and reality.

‘As the Missouri national guard prepared to deploy to the streets of Ferguson last year during protests sparked by the shooting death of Michael Brown, the troops used highly militarised language such as “enemy forces” and “adversaries” to refer to citizen demonstrators.
Documents detailing the military mission divided the crowds that national guards would be likely to encounter into “friendly forces” and “enemy forces” – the latter apparently including “general protesters”.
A briefing for commanders included details of the troops’ intelligence capabilities so that they could “deny adversaries the ability to identify Missouri national guard vulnerabilities”, which the “adversaries” might exploit, “causing embarrassment or harm” to the military force, according to documents obtained in a Freedom of Information Act request by CNN.’

Mainstream media fabricates stories using actors and reports them as truth in deceptive news theater
‘The mainstream media has once again been caught making up news stories, this time with a bogus report about a naked man escaping from a window at Buckingham Palace. Reports indicate that NBC News, apparently unaware that the pre-planned stunt was part of a scene for a drama show on its own network, picked up the story, which quickly went viral, and spread it around as truth before later being outed for reporting a lie.
Sliding down a rope at the official London residence of Britain’s royal families, the mostly naked man was reportedly an actor on the E! Network show The Royals, which is owned by NBC. A crude video clip of the man, which was captured on a shaky mobile phone camera, was apparently uploaded to YouTube as if it were real. And it quickly went viral, eventually making its way onto NBC News as a real event.’
