Tory Cuts Could Push Tens Of Thousands Of Home Carers Onto the Dole, Warns Charity

Posted by Welfare Weekly -May 17, 2015

Tens of thousands of home carers who look after vulnerable elderly relatives could be pushed into unemployment, warns the Alzheimer’s Society.

Government cuts are leaving local authority social care budgets “at breaking point”, while struggling home carers are left juggling work and caring duties.

Within ten years, up to one million Alzheimers patients will be dependent upon the care they receive from relatives. This is estimated to save the economy around £11.6bn each year, which is greater than the £8.8bn spent on the NHS.

Head of policy at the Alzheimer’s Society, George McNamara, said: “Further government cuts to social care could lead to tens of thousands of working people forced to give up their jobs to look after elderly relatives over the next five years.”

“Workers can’t fit caring responsibilities into a lunch break”, said Mr McNamara.

“Looking after an elderly parent with dementia takes huge amounts of time, energy and emotional stress. Many carers will have no choice but to give up work unless they get better public services.”

Our political system is a massive psychological machine to devour moral decency within our societal system of care and welfare services.

Carers work dedicated hours of long back breaking heavy workloads, time utterly spent providing the attention we all appreciate when where in need.  This career model goes largely unnoticed, ignored and deeply underpaid for their efforts, unless it is to sabotage it further.

We know the Tory bullying agenda, their destruction of the welfare state expedition and a ferocious path of evil, to destroy the poor’s voice and power.

This punishing infrastructure is ripping to pieces at rapid speeds of vigour, to dismantle our welfare state, and all practises and commitments to it. A deliberate manufactured Tory dialogue of force to collapse our social caring community structures to fall and fail.

The agenda is for the private sector to infiltrate their corporate power and control, to eventually privatise the whole system by stepping in to ‘rescue’ the starved of funds avenues.

This punishing infrastructure is on a ceaseless expansion that is hijacked by ruthless corporate politicians who hold power to instigate and frame debates, basically control decision making to favour private interests and this sector is no different.

City shuts off water to delinquent residents; hits Baltimore Co. homes hardest

Sunday 17th May 2015 at 07:20 By David Icke

‘Baltimore officials, trying to collect some $40 million in long-unpaid water bills, have shut off service to more than 1,600 customers in the past six weeks.

But records reviewed by The Baltimore Sun show the city’s enforcement has been starkly uneven.

While large commercial properties owe the biggest amounts, not one has been shut off. All of the service cuts so far have been to homes.

And while the majority of homes with unpaid bills are in the city, nearly 90 percent of shut-offs have been in Baltimore County. Dundalk and Gwynn Oak have each had more service cuts than all of Baltimore.’

Baltimore’s poor are being punished.

Administration of hate speared through their air to pierce ‘death dealing policies’ at the poor for owing money to the water companies, has shut them off.

Inhumane, siege mentality, administrators with deep bitter malice towards the poor can’t hide their demented words of resentment, as their actions speak loudly.

Following the tail of the one in front, administrators, dictate, obey and follow ‘evil in print’ to produce a true ‘hunger game’ society, a miserable onslaught for the poor, for the basic necessity of life, water.98e9a-bhzhxtwcqaeawiq1

It is a ‘silent weapon’ for a ‘silent carnage’ upon those suffering from poverty a true gritty doleful shade of sorrow, anguish and a fixed sadness.

They suffer an expulsion from mainstream society, and residents only face fierce dialogues frowning with scorn at them who shut their water off.

The poor are being held to ransom.

A horrendous interval in family home life with children in need of clean water and yet the corporate parks, display in arrogant splendour their water  features, their absolute control of privilege and all things they want.

It is further proof democracy is being shattered across the political spectrum, dignity is not sacred and to wreck and devastate citizens is a daily sinister principle of our age, ‘the oligarchs spirit of the age’ that is.

George Osborne to hold SECOND Budget of year – and expect the axe to fall on welfare

Second Budget: George Osborne will make spending cuts harsher than we all thought

George Osborne will announce huge cuts to public services and welfare in his first all-Tory Budget.

The Chancellor has revealed he is planning to declare a second Budget of the year on July 8.

The Tory axeman already formed a budget in March, but will now slash spending and support for struggling families even more because his actions are not limited by Lib Dem coalition partners.

Mr Osborne said: “On the 8th of July I am going to take the unusual step of having a second Budget of the year.

“I don’t want to wait to turn the promises we made in the election into a reality.”

Street Democracy writes:

Like banded thieves in the night this Tory budget will steal freedoms from the disempowered, expel them further from mainstream society, economically bludgeoned them to death and assassinate the characters of any in need of welfare.

Dismembering society further a Tory darkness addiction to hurt the poor, war upon the poor and socially disgrace them further by taking money from them is to endure another 5 years of lethal welfare cuts.

They have mastered a sinister art of manufacturing dehumanisation techniques disguised as saintly projects that echo draconian strategies of a brutal oppressive Tory machine of brilliant blue.

The punishing state as already begun, but worse is to come.

Like a ‘Red Briefcase of Doom’ carrying hideous horrors, the budget George Osbourne, a love abandoned soulless suit of blue, will direct a atmosphere to assassinate the welfare state.

We can only wait as the malevolent murmurs whisper suggestive financial slaughter, and prey for our communities and families sake that the destruction is not devastating.

This pursuit of the hungry shows the monstrous side of modern Britain

This pursuit of the hungry shows the monstrous side of modern Britain

new Friday 15th May 2015 at 09:32 By David Icke

‘In the BBC’s recent Poldark drama, Jim Carter, an unemployed tin miner, is caught poaching the local gentry’s rabbit to feed his hungry family. Despite pleas for clemency Jim is made an example of by the judge, sentenced to two years, and subsequently dies in jail, paying the ultimate penalty for a minor food theft.

Perhaps someone at the Hetton Road Tesco Express in Sunderland felt a similar urge to make an example when, after spotting people on CCTV sifting through out-of-date groceries at the back of the store in January, they picked up the phone to the police. Or maybe they were simply following company protocol. Either way, the resulting court case has turned out to be a spectacular own goal for Tesco.’

Street Democracy writes: This is a comment from the Guardian comments section:

‘Prosecutor Lee Poppett said the couple had raised suspicion after being seen on a Sunderland City Council CCTV camera in the secure compound behind the store at midnight.
They were in the process of removing a pallet of food stuffs from the compound when they were intercepted by police.’
(Sunderland Echo…under the heading ‘Freegan’ wife sold neighbour’s vacuum to buy drugs – and has 28 previous convictions for 60 crimes’. )

She was also dealt with for two offences of theft/shoplifting sentence having been deferred earlier on the basis that she stay out of trouble, and she was also in breach of a suspended sentence for wounding two years earlier.

COME ON Graun…if the Sunderland Echo can report it accurately I’m sure you could give it a go. This is shockingly lazy journalism which does you no credit. Leaving aside that this was ‘a pallet of foodstuffs’ rather than a couple of out-of-date sandwiches, how else would you want the Criminal Justice System to deal with a woman with 28 previous convictions for 60 offences-including, for God’s sake, wounding?! Oh, and she nicked (intercepted) a new vacuum cleaner being delivered to her neighbour and sold it to pay for drugs…or rather that’s what she admitted to police rather than endure the shame of telling them she needed the money to buy food. The impression you gave me (and intended to give) when I read this article was that of a decent couple reduced to rummaging in bins, and of the ‘monstous’ bastards at Tesco (who should sue you given the prominence you’ve given to them in the photo) and the police grinding them into the ground. Was it the ‘whole truth’? I think not-but why do I have to go to the Sunderland Echo to get it? Yesterdays nonsense about the Prince of Wales’ letters was at least debatable. This is shoddy rubbish.

The mind’s of how others choose to survive is of consequence of how society is governed.

We face a dreadful interval into our lives that can damage the human psyche for many, not all, some for some of the time, many all of the time.

To have no money is to have no power. Social exclusion is a heavy burden to carry when a crushing force of domination spears hatred at you from all angles.

Drug addiction, shoplifting, child neglect, debt and any other ill you can mention isn’t necessarily a reason of poverty, but blaming an individual for any of the above without full facts is again short-sighted.

We  have innately decent people place themselves in disastrous situations.

Do we condemn without ever knowing the full story?

Heavily based sorrow drives some to escapism at great cost to themselves. To try to live an existence away from victimhood within our communities.

Our society is a culture of divisions, and the blame of hate towards some who are victims of an aggressive political stance who go to great lengths to heal themselves, even if it is against the law, needs addressing.

RIP David Clapson, the latest tragic victim of callous welfare reforms.RIP David Clapson, the latest tragic victim of callous welfare reforms.

When Funghi, the unemployed alcoholic  featured in the recent Benefits Street television series, disclosed that he had been abused as a child, most of those condemning him on twitter did not even blink.  Such is the state-whipped up contempt amongst some towards people on benefits, that not even the revelation of a tragic childhood was enough to stop the bullying mob.

BqKMJwNCEAEk9ej

Displayed by Street Democracy

Yet one of the reasons child abuse is such an abhorrent crime is that the scars often last a lifetime.  Everybody knows this.  Addiction, depression, low self-esteem, isolation, these are just some of the ways that a life can be blighted by mistreatment as a child.  Often people like this find it hard to just get a job, and often not through want of trying.  The sad truth is that employers are not rushing out to hire people addicted to drink or drugs, or those with a serious mental condition, or even people who might simply be judged to have a mild personality disorder.  In an economy based on high unemployment, and no real political will to change that, some people will be left behind.  There are over two million people currently looking for a job.

BpwnPWdIMAArI8I

Captitalism chews people up and spits them out.  Everybody knows this as well.  Whether the stress of a shit job or no job, poverty, lack of adequate housing and fractured communities, the pressures faced by those at the bottom are immense.  Yet the poor are now expected to be super-heroes.  Lone parents are not only expected to juggle looking after young children with endless work-related activity imposed by Jobcentres, but also to feed them healthy food, home-cooked on the fucking Aga using only natural ingredients.  It doesn’t matter that the pittance those parents have to survive on barely pays for value chicken nuggets and oven chips.  They should make do and mend, live on ten pounds a week, darn socks by the fire and be grateful that their children are just malnourished, not starving.

BmLr6aNCcAE1yu-

Displayed by Street Democracy

Disabled people and those with health conditions are now having those conditions and disabilities magically disappeared by endless health assessments which are designed to stop their benefits.  Such is the triumph of neo-liberalism, the rhetoric goes, that there is a job for anyone now if they just try hard enough.  If you can tweet you can work as one Tory MP claimed.  The stark fact that employers are guilty of grotesque discrimination towards disabled workers is swept under the carpet at best, or at worst disabled people themselves are blamed for this prejudice.

Many tyrants claim to be helping the people whose live are demolished by their acts of barbarism.  Whether European invaders ‘civilising’ Africa by forcing the people into chains, or Tony Blair carpet-bombing Baghdad to save it, death and destruction have often been inflicted by messianic monsters who believe they are killing people for their own good.

The latest government workfare scheme is called Help To Work.  It is nothing of the sort of course, when this type of workfare was tried in a pilot scheme it had no impact on whether people found a job.  But that hasn’t stopped gushing press releases from the DWP lying about all the wonderful new support the scheme offers.  In truth this so-called support is either forced labour or starvation and this Government couldn’t particularly give a fuck which.

Under the guise of this ‘help’, Iain Duncan Smith has re-designed the already scant support of the social security system to be a torture machine.  Slip up, just for a second, and you will be dragged down, to poverty, homelessness and destitution.  It doesn’t even matter if it’s not your fault.  People newly diagnosed with cancer now spend as much time fighting the DWP so they can have enough money to eat, as they do fighting their illness.  Victims of domestic abuse face being socially cleansed from the area they may have grown up in, instead of being provided safe, and secure housing.  Kids who’ve been in care are sanctioned, cut off benefits completely, and left beg, rob, or sell their bodies to survive.

Today the Daily Mirror features that harrowing case of former soldier David Clapson on their front page.  This man, a 59 year old diabetic, was left penniless and without even electricity to keep his insulin chilled in the fridge.  A coroner found he had no food in his stomach.  His crime was to miss a meeting at the Jobcentre.  His punishment was death by benefit sanction.  Sanctions which ‘help’ people and according to one senior DWP official are even welcomed by those they are inflicted on.

Allowing the poorest citizens not only to be socially cast out of main stream society, spitefully demonised as useless eaters, scroungers and other cruel name calling, but financially devastated beyond destitute for all those unable to work a full week.

Lib-Dem-Welfare-Reforms-Compassion-AAV

It is beyond scandalous how MP’s can excessively over use their expenses by millions of pounds heavily funded from the taxpayer and yet at the same time produce inept and slow kill policies towards the pittance of money awarded by the benefits sector.

They are malevolent policies empowered by human drones in suits who administer such brutal social policies within the benefit system.

BeAYGpsIIAA14Du

Sitting comfortably behind their overused battered desks they give these policies the undeserving power it needs to survive and operate, like some toxic rampage, they unleash these heartless policies to the most poorest people.

Unwittingly they reconfigure our culture to further impoverish the poor as acceptable without thinking if their position is morally right to inflict such financial pain.

Benefit agents and their colleagues within Work Programmes dig new pathways of magnificent tragedies, and this is one of many.

Mr Duncan Smith said the magazine was being used “more and more” as a foothold for Romanians and other Europeans to access tax credits.

The work and pensions secretary, who was answering a question from the floor at an event in Berlin, said that immigrants from Europe were “immediately” able to claim tax credits on arrival in Britain due to their self-employed status as magazine vendors.’

It is a form of mind rape as the barrage of intimate questions come hollowing at you, by a commanding dialogue of speak of loose your vital money, is outrageous and is blackmail.

A corrupt parasitical mechanism to destroy the psyche of the poor, enslave them, blame them and crush them.

They are doing nothing but transmitting disease gutter policies that amplify misery, magnify a corrupt government to crush the poor but mostly to control the poor.

These work programmes have been designed by ‘think tanks’ disconnected socially and have infiltrated aggressive austerity programmes that look good on paper.

Organisations are standardising blackmail, localising bullying and controlling the poor and not even in the right direction either.

In reality these are detention centre’s intricately imposing, and are needlessly sterile instruments of control.

In reality these consultants are localising bullying, standardising blackmail and controlling the vulnerable poor as if they are commodities to be controlled.

What they are not doing is socially elevating the poor, aiding the desperately ill in positions of employment far removed from slave labouring and minimum wage to give them career fulfilment to suit their individual needs.

BlHuzoGIcAAZIbw

Fact, the unemployed are not slaves, we’re not to be disrespected either. We’re treated like vermin, and socially demonised as parasitical. Yet, we are innately decent people trying our best in a cut throat world too, with ill health and no money, its almost impossible.

They are not elevating the working poor out of the cycle of deprivation.

The poor are not receiving large quantities of respect and are not treated as innately decent people.

The poor, the unemployed are instead, regularly hounded, are harassed and pushed forward towards sordid work positions available.

People need time to heal. People need time to be new mothers and fathers, they need time to adjust to disabilities before being pushed out into the job market with added cold scorn like it is today.

This class warfare guarantee’s hard gruel labour, or dead end work placements, guaranteed to make your feet and hands sore while being paid pea nuts.

Your pushed forward to work in a type of hell, a work position that is in a social black hole of no empathy, no decent pay, no respect and no prospects.

BiSBZLlIEAACvQj

This parasite is psychopathic following a psychopathic Tory main frame- but worse is localised organisations adopting this ideology and giving it the power necessary to hound the poor with.

Work placements guaranteed to destroy what little health you had left and you have no choice but to go along or face hunger and serious money deprivation with benefit sanctions.

This sounds like a ‘Gulag Society’  to me.

A Punishing State treating the unemployed as one social annoyance a plague or parasite and is beyond wrong in every way.

Councils and housing organisations to boycott workfare programme

By Inside Housing-Pictures displayed by Street Democracy.

Around 350 charity organisations have signed up to boycott the community work placement part of the government’s workfare programme, including 13 councils, two housing organisations and a selection of homelessness charities.

jobcentre-plus

The Keep Volunteering Voluntary campaign has said that 345 organisations have agreed to boycott the programme, including Habinteg Housing Association, Your Homes Newcastle Youth Voice, Shelter, Shelter Cymru and Swansea Young Single Homeless Project.

Union Unite has also signed up and, through its Unite Against Workfare campaign, has already secured agreements from several councils that they will not take workfare placements. These councils have said they will also encourage contractors to do the same.

The 13 councils that have signed up at present are: Barking and Dagenham, Brent, Burnley, Edinburgh, Ipswich, Islington, Lambeth, Norwich, South Tyneside, St Helens, Sunderland, Thurrock and Wakefield.

The scheme is part of the government’s help to work programme under which participants must either sign on at a Jobcentre every day, take up a training course or carry out a six-month, 30-hour-a-week placement.

The KVV said opposition to the scheme appears to be related to the community work placement element being delayed. the help to work scheme was launched on 28 April, and these placements should have already begun, according to the campaign.

A spokesperson for the Department for Work and Pensions said: ‘Referrals to the placements have begun and the placements will begin shortly. There has been no delay. Charities are under no obligation to be in the scheme, but those who are recognise the benefits of it.’
