It’s the Great British sell off: Osborne reveals plan to sell off more government assets than ever before in bid to raise more than £23BILLION this year

Thursday 21st May 2015 at 09:23 By David Icke

‘George Osborne signalled the start of the biggest ever sell-off of public assets in a speech to the CBI business conference last night.

The Chancellor said the government would raise more than £23billion this year – a new record – by privatising stakes in Eurostar, Lloyds and the student loan book.

He also revealed that Government departments have already been ordered to start finding extra savings ahead of the emergency budget in July, as he bids to wipe out the government deficit within just two years.’

The FDA union claims HMRC will lose up to 15,000 of its 64,000 staff – despite having to find an extra £5bn by cracking down on tax avoidance

Axe: HMRC could face huge job cuts – but George Osborne wants staff to tackle tax avoidance

Tory cuts could axe more than a fifth of staff at the department in charge of chasing tax dodgers, a union has warned.

It’s claimed HM Revenue and Customs will lose out as new waves of cuts spread across Whitehall, ditching up to 100,000 jobs.

That’s despite HMRC being in charge of a new tax avoidance crackdown that George Osborne claims will net Britain £5bn.

Dave Penman, general secretary of the FDA civil service union, says HMRC will suffer because other departments like education, health and foreign aid are better-protected.

And it won’t be able to track down tax dodgers without investing in expensive experts, he warned.

He told Mirror Online: “Tax avoidance is just one part of HMRC but it’s a critical one.

‘David Cameron’s former chief strategist has launched a stinging attack on the ‘insular ruling class’ threatening Britain’s democracy.

Steve Hilton said too many of those at the heart of government go to the same dinner parties and send their children to the same schools.

He said the UK’s political system is now in ‘crisis’ because the same type of people stay in charge whatever the outcome of the elections.

In what will be seen as a criticism of the ‘chumocracy’ of his former boss, Mr Hilton warned: ‘Our democracies are increasingly captured by a ruling class that seeks to perpetuate its privileges.
‘Regardless of who’s in office, the same people are in power.’

The Human Cost of the FIFA World Cup

‘As the world watches the 2014 FIFA World Cup, people are protesting the cost and the human rights violations being committed by police and security forces to protect this corporate investment.

Working people in Brazil are understandably frustrated with the public cost of the World Cup, an estimated $14 billion. When compared to spending on social services, the cost of the World Cup is the equivalent of 61% of funding for education, or 30% of the funding for healthcare. Private companies, including those in the services and construction industries, will be the main beneficiaries of this public money. Adding to this cost is the forced evictions of the poor living in the favelas (slums) and the dispossession of indigenous people from their lands to build stadiums and parking lots. [1]

Over one million people in Brazil have protested the cost of the World Cup, the cutbacks and increased costs of social services, forced evictions, and other human rights violations.’

The crushing force of capitalism: Back to the dark ages of feudalism

‘History never repeats itself, but from time to time, consciously or not, some influential men attempt to force us into the monstrosity of their imaginary time machines to try to reverse decades, and in the case of feudalism, almost a millennium of social progress.

The mid-20th century brought the years of collective psychosis of Adolf Hitler’s “thousand year Reich,” and more recently what can be viewed as the United States of America’s imperialist manifesto or so-called “Project for the New American Century”, concocted in 1997 but still in effect today under the current administration, with the self-proclaimed objective to “promote American global leadership” resolutely and by military force, if necessary.’

The real cost-of-living-crisis: Five million British children ‘sentenced to life of poverty thanks to welfare reforms’

‘Children in working families, rather than beggars and vagrants, are the face of modern poverty in Britain today – a country which is one of the “most unfair in the developed world.” For five million children face being “sentenced to a lifetime of poverty” by 2020, according to shocking new research from Save The Children.

Cuts to benefits, the rising cost of living and years of flat wages have created a “triple whammy” for the country’s children, warned the charity. Policies such as the so-called bedroom tax combined with the slashing of tax credits and council tax relief mean “the social safety net no longer acts as a sufficient backstop for poor families,” claims the Save The Children report. Recent changes to social security have cut the incomes of the poorest by between eight and nine per cent, it calculated.’

People in Crawley, West Sussex are going hungry, missing meals regularly to pay the bedroom tax and other death dealing benefit cuts by the Tories.

Street Democracy writes:

Here in Crawley, W.Sussex I hear and meet local residents who regularly miss meals because of being forced to pay the bedroom tax or have been hit hard by the benefit cuts.

I meet people who tell me democracy for them doesn’t exist for they feel silenced and excluded.

Our local MP, Henry Smith (Tory), doesn’t listen to them or me for that matter, and gives back automated pre-written emails or responses regurgitated from the Tory henchmen Conservative Leaders.

Henry Smith MP-Prayed at Northgate Church for the poor but ignores their pleas, supports bedroom tax, benefit cuts and ATOS all death dealing Tory policies-hypocrite!

There is no empathy in this sterile economic torture towards the poor.

The Tory punishing state is expanding as our stomachs rumble for food.

We have some Tory Councillor’s who feel we the poor live lavishly on food take away’s, daily and we don’t need a food bank.

BjrzhxfCQAAHQ8K

This Tory Councillor is also rude to members of the public who don’t support Tory policy. Mockery is allowed at Town Hall meetings towards the public gallery when the public are not permitted to speak to defend themselves. Outcome-innately decent people walk out.

This particular Tory Councillor is wrong.

He is using in accurate and by out of touch information to make such a crazy statement.

This Tory Councillor cannot hear, or relate to the numbers of Crawley residents who bear the weight of this Tory ‘war against the poor’ and even Iain Duncan Smith stated it was a war.

BlSvADbIAAAOWxa

So it is a war then! A war against the lower classes and financially weaponising benefits and to demonise claimants has been a Tory success.

Crawley, Tory Councillor refuse’s to open their eyes to their political party’s destruction policy aimed at benefit claimants.

It has been a spiteful punishing agenda, especially using the blame game for economic failures being aimed at benefit claimants and calling it a ‘benefit culture’ like it was always easy to survive on.

There are hungry people in Crawley, I know this for a fact. Desperately trying to find work that pays their rent, mortgage and the corporate cost of living is now very difficult without welfare top ups.

Crawley Borough Council and the local Crawley Job Centre amplify this misery, by following the Tory psychopathic main frame with ruthless efficiency.

UK hunger crisis laid bare in open letter to PM from professional couple forced to resort to food banks

As a report reveals one million food parcels have been handed out including 330,000 to hungry children, a professional working couple tell how they had to rely on food banks to feed their baby.

Hard working: Hannah, baby Hunter and Dean Chadwick

NHS PA Hannah Chadwick, 31, and her engineer husband Dean, 27, ran out of money to feed themselves and their 16-month-old son Hunter after their car needed £700 of repairs.

In an open letter to David Cameron, the couple, from Wrexham in North Wales, reveal how they had to use a food bank to survive:

Dear Mr Cameron

We are a hard-working family and never buy anything on credit. We are proud of being able to provide for ourselves and didn’t want to beg off someone else. So going to the food bank was our only option. We were a bit embarrassed but in August we turned up at our local centre.

There was a real mix of people there. We expected to see homeless people or those fighting addiction. But there were also professional workers, older people and families.

They gave us three days of food but it lasted a week. It tided us over to payday. Without it we’d have gone hungry. We don’t think the answer is more food banks. Cheaper childcare would have helped us. We are a wealthy country and it is shocking that so many don’t have enough.

We want the Government to come up with ways that people can help themselves. And if you are struggling our message to you is, ‘Don’t be too proud to ask for help’. We wanted to give back so we donate food ourselves.

Street Democracy writes:

It is predatory lending.

Your nation has been fleeced by surrounding corporate controlled nations forever taking money away and out of your country and now you have nothing left.

The global banking crooks of this world, IMF, are only too willing to lend your country as much money as needed, as the small print is ownership of your nation.

Ownership means control of governmental decisions, control of commerce to make sure enough of their corporations enter your country and its business as usual.

It means corporatism moves in, especially the Rothschild’s banking systems, to enslave your people to using their privately owned debt notes.

Rothschild’s see it as business and nothing else. They are a wealthy bloodline of old, a form of cold reptilian that are the purpose of corruption.

The Crucible

‘Today the world is watching events inside Ukraine very closely. What should be happening can be found in the 5-day war in Georgia that took place in August of 2008. Georgia is that tiny speck of green, on the Black Sea, just below Russia (in yellow) and just East of Ukraine. That was the site for the template that was used by USI, in 2008, to try to gain a firm US foothold on the Black Sea. That American criminal-overreach failed completely, in 2008 which might be why they’re doing this inside Ukraine and Crimea?

Hence the new attempt in Ukraine, to do the same thing now, but for a much larger access to the world of the Black Sea. But there’s an additional international-card that many don’t clearly remember. What’s happening today is the second such attack by USI & Israel upon a different sovereign nation. Both nations are on the Black Sea.

That would be Ukraine and Crimea which to date is following exactly what happened in Georgia in 2008. Just as we followed what we did in Libya by trying to repeat the exact same plan in Syria: The US-Israeli plan to destabilize Ukraine is following in the exact same footsteps that were taken in Ossetia, Georgia in 2008. Here’s part of that story…’ Read more …

Central Banker PM Says Ukraine Ready for IMF Auction Block

‘Arseniy Yatseniuk, the central bankster PM of post-coup Ukraine, has signaled IMF-inspired fire sales are on schedule.

On Monday Yats, as the U.S. State Department fondly calls him, said Naftogaz Ukrainy, the national oil and gas company of Ukraine, will be put on the auction block.

Ukrtransgaz, a Naftogaz Ukrainy subsidiary, operates the natural gas pipelines in Ukraine. The pipelines are used to transit Russian natural gas to eighteen European countries, including France and Italy. Naftogaz is the sole importer of Russian natural gas provided by Gazprom, the largest extractor of natural gas and one of the largest companies in the world.

Yats is also ready to impose IMF austerity on Ukraine, already one of the poorest nations in Europe.

Yatsenyuk is the kind of technocrat you want if you want austerity, with the veneer of professionalism,” Vladimir Signorelli, president of boutique investmentresearch firm Bretton Woods Research LLC in New Jersey, told Forbes last month. “He’s the type of guy who can hobnob with the European elite. How about not having the concentrated few hoards hundreds of thousands of acres of land leaving land scarcity for ordinary men and women so people can be free to make a small home business and not be forced to be a slave for the rich.

How about making it illegal to have the rich own all the property and hoard all of the real wealth, so the ordinary man and woman can gain some and not be poor.

Then people could have their own family businesses for local communities rather than corporatism that dictates what communities should have.

They force a social conformity upon communities, forcing a belief that people need corporations to survive. They force social acceptance that the unemployed (who have been manufactured) should enslave themselves to corporations rather than become self sufficient.

The poor shouldn’t have to participate in meaningless jobs, back breaking and time wasting positions and work for a minimum wage that covers nothing of the cost of living and all for the arrogant.

Our mass consumeristic culture doesn’t have to be aimed at one giant corporate wealthy bloodline family that act as vampires sucking the energy from the locals who they expect to bow down too.

Re-gain our empowerment back into our communities where each community dictates the way and not the out of touch diabolical rich.

Then the poor may well be motivated to get each morning to serve family and neighbouring areas rather the elite vampires.
